- We were there about 15 years ago with all four kids. Spent a good part of the afternoon watching the ships come and go. If I remember, there was an intersesting model of the locks inside the visitor's center. The kids enjoyed and still remember the trip. - Thank you, Jean and LMA! I get it now. I knew how to bind off, but I didn't know what to do with the last stitch left at the end. I see now that once I turn my work and bind off again at the beginning of the next row, it uses that stitch and doesn't matter. It was that leftover stitch at the end that was throwing me.
