... you might consider giving her a written list of expectations, complete with times. Some kids get flustered and contrary when told without warning to do something. They feel like it's out of the blue and that they have no time to adjust.

I'd implement a written routine and give five minute warnings for awhile, like you might for a younger child. Then if this behavior persists, she needs to earn back the life of a normal child. She has food, clothing, shelter... and not much else. (And it *sounds* like defience, but honestly? You sometimes just don't know.)
