If she is rude or disrespectful I tell her to turn it off immediately. I recommend that she goes to cool off on the trampoline/in her room/in front of the tele - whatever seems to fit at the time. If she comes back with sass, she immediately goes to her room and is not allowed to come out until she has a smile on her face and she immediately has to apologize to me. We have been doing this for at least a year. She still is rude 2-3 times a week, but it is commonly tired/hungry related and the above technique works pretty much everytime. Whatever you do, be consistent and have the exact same rule for every time it happens.
