One of my examples is "no I won't take a bath." So, sitting her on the stairs instead of getting in said bath is actually doing her a favor. Same with "no I won't go to bed, I'll get up and turn on the light."

Timeout at bathtime also makes bedtime later, which also gets her what she wants.

She's too big for me to physically pick up and drag into the bathroom. I could have done that last year, but not this year. LOL!

I can't make a time out at bedtime. That just gives her what she wants, to stay up later, even if it is boring.
