it hasn't worked. DS' handwriting in the books is perfect, but IRL, it's a bunch of chicken scratches, capital letters pop up in the middle of words, just a mess.
When DS rewrites something so it is legible, it takes him a long time to do it.
I heard of a learning disability called dysgraphia and I'm wondering if he has that. I am continuing with HWT while I check this out.
My DS has small hands, so I just ordered him a kid-sized keyboard, too. I figure he will have an easier time with longer reports and such if he knows how to type.
Yet he will have to write things out in longhand all of his life, and his writing must be legible without it taking 30 minutes to write a paragraph.
