What are the Pro's and Con's of Bob Jones Math (2nd-6th grade)?

Do you know if Bob Jones Math is considered one that lays a good foundation and spirals their learning blocks up with later grades? If anyone has experience with this, do you consider it boring and repetitive or interesting and varied? Do your children enjoy it?
