He always suggests a book called "Weather Flying" by Frank Buck [i think] for anyone interested in pursuing a flying interest.
i watch him spend TONS of time at various weather sites for flight planning, and it's fascinating how much even just the temperature affects whether [snicker] he can get into/out of certain airports or not.
anyway, if you want a side-track issue, there ya go :-)
