There are a few books that deal ONLY w/ diagramming, so you don't have to supplement w/ a whole other language program.
I would introduce it and teach it for a bit; if the kids grasp the concept and show progress, keep it up!
If they don't seem to get it but do just fine w/ the labeling, then set it aside and stick w/ what works.
But since it does help some kids see thesentences more clearly, I would at least offer them yet another 'tool' to help learn the language. If they need the 'tool', then they now have it. If they don't need it, no harm done :-)
