I was shopping for school supplies at Target and came across this: US Activity Posters put out by Crayola (only $7.99). Each page is
13 1/2" x 19 1/2" and there are 2 states on each page (page is perforated to separate). Contains picture of state flag, info and pictures of State fish or animal, bird, flower and info. on state capital and when it became a state. ALSO, instructions are included for HOW to color the flag, fish, bird and flower! There is a small picture of the state itself with a star for the capital and there is a US map as one of the pages with the US flag and instructions for coloring. Crayola does it again! I believe they had a poster kit for US Presidents as well. I got one but I'm going back to get more for my other kids.
Just thought I'd share this to go along with the discussions on US Geography!
