If so, do you give additional assignments during the week to practice the word list? My son is breezing right along (he's 8.5) and generally has maybe one mistake in the pre-test. When I talk to my friends whose kids are in ps they say that their kids have to make puzzles, write poems, etc. with the spelling words each week. Should I be doing more with the words, or is it sufficient that he spells them correctly?
