seemed to like it fairly well. I have no idea about its value regarding accreditation, etc. I have only a couple of anecdotes, both of which happen to be positive.
One family that I know of sent their children to a VERY small Christian school which used ACE. Actually, the school was basically two mothers teaching their children in another building, using the curriculum. The oldest daughter of this friend graduated from h.s., got a business degree in college, and received a full scholarship to a very prestigious university in St. Louis for a master's in business program.
This friend thought ACE was fairly good, but was weak on teaching writing.
Another friend was a graduate of an ACE school. She graduated at 15, took her GED, completed college by 19, and received her law degree by 22. She also did very well.
However, these are testimonials and probably don't give you a complete picture. However, I would continue to research the subject, if I were you. I had considered using their typing program this summer with my daughters.
HTH!
