for Missouri graduation requirements; click on the link that leads you to a pdf file. It states, on p. 12, "7,830 minutes" per credit/unit, which is 130.5 hours. I've read anywhere between 120 to 150; Memoria Press considers Traditional Logic I and TL II to be worth about 1/2 credit each, or 60 hours.
Now, remember that this is public school graduation requirements. I was told by one of the HSLDA high school coordinators that homeschoolers are not subject to the same requirements for credits as public school kids. However, I would think between 120 to 150 hours would be ample, in my opinion. To me, 190 hours seems a bit much; more college-level work for credits rather than high school level.
If I were you, to be sure, you could always call HSLDA or e-mail them. They were very responsive in answering my questions. I think there is some confusion over this issue of credits and h.s. requirements vs. public school requirements.
The bottom line is that you want to offer your student a rigorous enough program at home that would help them get into the college or other educational institution of their choice. It's often a good idea to check with colleges, as well.
