I don't feel qualified to answer your post as I don't know you, except as a kind person who has helped me on this board. I have read a bit of what you have posted about your life in the recent years and I give you much credit for being able to hold it together. I know you are a believer from those posts as well, have you asked Him what to do about school? I don't mean to sound trite, and the internet is such a hard instrument to convey empathy, you have mine - I feel for you and can hear your sadness and frustration. My first reaction to your post, is you should all take a semester off, completely off school and just rest, rest emotionally, rest spiritually, and then pray for fresh perspective. But I know in hs especially there seems to be a giant clock ticking away the minutes, and that is a scary thought to actually throw away a bunch of time that could be used trying to reach certain goals. What I'm trying to say is that you've been through alot, so have your sons, maybe you just need some rest before making such big decisions, a real rest, a lengthy rest.
