I am currently using Singapore math w/my 6th gr. dd. She will most likely be going to ps in 10th grade. NYS is in the midst of a changeover in their Regents Math program.
I have included the link to a pdf which documents the course content for high school math. The Integrated Algebra section lists the skills taught in 9th grade math. I was told that they were returning to the standard Algebra, Geometry, Alg II and Trig, but it appears that it is in name only.
What math program would best prepare my dd. for 10th grade? It appears that even 9th gr. math delves into trigonometry and geometry. It's so frustrating. I know that Singapore NEM hits on some of these topics, but it a bit lite in the area of coordinate graphing.
I would greatly appreciate any direction/suggestions.
