Back almost 30 years ago I took AP English and got a 5. I got 6 college English credits. I placed out of Freshman and Junior English. I still had to take two higher level English credits in place of Freshman and Junior English.
So getting good AP scores will not necessarily mean no English.
You'd need to check not only credits granted, but college graduation requirements for you college
