I am trying to decide on a math program for my 12yo son who will be in 7th grade next year. We are finishing 6B in a couple of months, and I am leaning toward a self-teaching program. However, I get the impression they are not as challenging as the Singapore programs.
My hesitation with Singapore is that I am not a math whiz, and I don't know if I will do well teaching and explaining, or helping with more difficult problems. My son is bright, but wouldn't be able to do any of these independently.
Please give me feedback on the Singapore secondary, anyone who's used any of the programs, and let me know how you found them (and your math aptitude)
