This is what we're doing with TT Alg 2

We homeschool year round, too, so the review in some of these programs can get pretty tedious. This time we're having our dd complete two problems from each section included in the review lessons; if she misses any of them due to misunderstanding of concepts (she doesn't make a lot of computational errors anymore so I don't need to have her do them again to reinforce more attention to detail), then she'll do the evens or odds for that section. This should be sufficient to refresh her memory. She hasn't missed anything yet since we haven't taken time off or anything.... Then when we get to the actual Alg 2 parts, we have her do some of the earlier review sections here and there, again, just evens or odds, for a "break" while she's trying to assimilate a tough concept. It helps build her confidence. I hate doing boatloads of review when it's unnecessary -- too much like public school.
