Was this for high school or middle school? You would assign grades in English (assuming you also covered grammar and composition; I don't know how much writing is in both) and social science (world history?). If for middle school, then I'd also give a grade for science. If for high school, I would assign 1 credit each for English and history, half a credit for, I dunno, general science.
