. . . so far she has worn make-up only as required for theatrical productions. We haven't set any hard and fast rules, but I don't anticipate encouraging her wearing any in the near future. Nor does she seem to have any interest in doing so. In fact, based on her experience with theatre, she seems to find it more of an irritation than anything.
It may also help that I don't wear any on a regular basis. Maybe a couple of times a year, I put on mascara and lipstick for a special occasion, but that's about it.
