If you hs all year round...do you skip the review lessons in new math levels or complete it all?

We used TTA1 this year and are starting TTA2 in the fall. We pretty much hs all year round except for July. We hs year round to give us freedom during the school year and not to accelerate learning. Ds is a little behind in A1 to finish before September. He can't double up on lessons because his retention suffers. It isn't a big deal to start a little late, but it would be nice to start the year fresh or at least not start out too far behind.

With Saxon we would have just skimmed the first 20 lessons of review, so I am wondering if TT is set up similarly? My fear is that A2 is not a direct take off of A1.

Any experience here?
