and the teacher who taught it and myself and another parent all agree it did a great job teaching our children to write. They took Write Shop and Write Shop II over two years (my dd was 13 and 14 when she took it) and this year they are using those writing skills in Literary Analysis. I think Write Shop is straightforward enough to be used with a student who is basically starting from scratch (as some of the co-op students were!).
