Rainbow is less demanding than some other programs, so that is one place she is picking up time. A language would add to her day.
My ds is in 7th and works about 5-6 hours or so, depending upon the day. He is doing:
Literature (My own selection)
Writing Strands
R&S Grammar
ABeka science
geography & history
R&S Math
Word Roots
Editor in Chief
Latina Christiana
R&S Spelling
physical education (taking up running this year)
piano lessons
typing
health (a state requirement)
Artistic Pursuits
Dandy Lion Logic
Latina Christiana
Many subjects are 5 days/week, a few are 4 days/week. Art is on Fridays only.
