Could I have my dd go into Lial's BCM after Singapore 5B, or should she finish 6B first? (m)

I posted this on the K-8 curr. board, but I decided to try here also since there has been a lot of Lial's discussion here.

My dd is 10 (5th grade) and will finish up Singapore 5B at the end of this year. Most of the posts that I have seen about Lial's have said that 6th grade is a great place to start. If she were to finish out the Singapore primary series first, that would mean she would be doing BCM during 7th and 8th and wouldn't start Algebra until 9th. So how crucial is it to finish out Singapore 6A and 6B? Which is the better progression?
