Franklin Speaking 11th Collegiate Dictionary. The only thing I don't like about it is that it only has the spoken pronunciation rather than having it written as well.

I find this dictionary in every room of the house and I can never find it when I need it (I need a homing device)--meaning my kids USE it, all the time, all of them, frequently throughout the day and week, bedrooms, living room, school table, computer table, kitchen, duffle bags, during school, while reading at bed time...! This NEVER was a problem with a book dictionary!!!! ("Mom, would it be O.K. if I packed the dictionary for my week at state fair?" LOL!) I never dreamt that I would have to decide which child could use the dictionary first during school time. They were unimpressed when I first bought it, but I have another one in my Amazon shopping cart right now. My dd will take one to college with her next year.
