your suggestions on the board very helpful and I so appreciate your willingness to share. Your suggestions seem to match up pretty well with my boys - esp the older one. I think that this book may be a good match for him. I have looked at Carson's, American Pageant, Johnson's and none have really struck me as the book for him. He used History of US in 6/7th grade.
One more quick question, does the edition matter or are they all about the same?
So you are working it in a similar manner as HO with essay questions etc... It is simple but it works so nicely. I am all about simplify and balance this year!
