and I do remember you saying that those courses would count as h.s. level.
I obviously need an education on this whole area of transcripts! I hope to go to a conference this summer that should clarify some issues in this regard. Like Colleen said above, I'm not trying to accumulate a "boatload of credits" in order to impress people, but just to give "credit" where credit is due, so to speak!
I'm a graduate of public school, so I still tend to think in those regards---what do public schools require? I find myself constantly having to re-train my thoughts that homeschool is different in its requirements. But, sometimes I'm still fuzzy---do I need to fulfill all the same requirements that public schools do? Or, do I gear our course work towards a specific college or colleges in general? I'm not clear. I do think that following TWTM/classical education should fulfill what most colleges are looking for.
For me, for instance, some of my statements re: Latin are to make sure my dd's get credit for doing Henle. Unfortunately, I think I can only inspire them to finish Henle I---two years of Latin! Maybe I started them too young. I do want them to continue foreign languages in 9th through 12th grades, but am giving them their choice of languages to pursue.
Anyway, yes, you are clear, and I'm sorry I was rather fuzzy myself in both posts!
