My son has just finished Algebra 1 and I have been debating on using TT for Algebra 2 (I'm the one who posted the question below yours!) The explanations are thorough, there are plenty of problems to work through and if he didn't understand something, we just went back watched the lesson again. The course assumes no knowledge of algebra or prealgebra. The course does contain a number of Algebra 2 concepts. Mr. Firebaugh does a fantastic job of explaining steps even later in the course when it should be assumed that the student knows how to do that portion of a problem. The nice thing with this program is, you can purchase phase 1 and try it out without purchasing the whole program at once. (I think they may even allow a 30 day trial) I have purchased a lot of Algebra 1 programs for my oldest, I didn't know about Math Relief at the time for him and we settled on MUS after trying Chalkdust, Classmate. Math Relief has been enjoyed by my second oldest and I plan to start my daughter in it next year.
