She hasn't done Latin through them, but has had good experiences with other things.
In general, they expect students to be in 9th grade before taking high school courses. My daughter started early, but that was a couple of years ago. It seems like they've gotten pickier recently.
As for the "permanent transcript" thing: FLVS does keep a record of your student's grades, but it would be entirely up to you whether anyone on the outside would ever even know your child had taken the class. I mean, there is no central registry where inquiring minds could look it up. You'd have to tell people.
